Marriage Mentor Panel Discussion
Join us for a quarterly all's fair Q & A session on the subject of marriage. We'll provide 3x5 cards for your anonymous questions and we'll most likely cover a variety of issues like:
Is it possible for opposites to STAY attracted?
Did I really mean to exchange single independence for wedded bliss?
You want to buy WHAT with our limited finances?
Why can't my spouse be a little more neat and tidy?
How can we learn to love our in-laws?
How come when I say ABC you hear XYZ?
Whether you are married or just interested in the subject matter, we hope you'll make plans to join us.
Parent's Mentor Panel Discussion
Join us for a quarterly parent's mentor panel discussion as we share the joy, the tears, the laughs and the challenges that we call parenting! Come for a time of Q & A's with our veteran panel parents and an opportunity to get to know other TVC parents who are ready to lift you up.Intro To TVC
Would you like to find out more about TVC? Would you like to hear about our history, meet some of our staff, ask some questions about what we believe and how you can get more involved? Or, maybe you're interested in finding out more about our church mission, goals, and vision. Then please accept our invitation to join us for a gathering we call "Intro to TVC". This seminar is held quarterly. Check the calendar on this website for the next meeting. We'll look forward to getting to know you too!Addison's Walk
On a quarterly basis we hold a panel discussion we call Addison's Walk where we focus on questions people have about the Christian faith. Questions often include: How do we know God exists? If God is good and all-powerful, why does He allow so much pain, evil and suffering? How can we learn to discern God's will for our lives? Is the Bible historically credible? What's so special about Jesus? Are heaven and hell real places? What is the relationship between contemporary culture and Christianity?
Named after a stone path in Oxford, England where C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien and Hugo Dyson walked and talked about the Christian faith, this event is an excellent opportunity to ask questions and gain insight about what it means to be a Christian and an authentic follower of Jesus Christ.
On occasion we add in a seminar that reflects the request or needs of the church body. Check the website calendar for this upcoming event.
Heart & Soul Panel Discussion on Depression and Moods
Join us for an open and honest panel discussion about how to deal with mild depression, sometimes called melancholy. Why do we sometimes experience "ups and downs"? What does the Bible teach us about our emotions? How can we better understand this mysterious aspect of ourselves?
